Tax Shelters: This tax-deductible medical insurance reduces wait times
By: News Canada
(NC)—Increasingly, Canadians say they want the ability to aggressively manage their own health care. Individuals want to make their own choicesbased on personal needs, regardless of location and cost.
Some people choose to go to the United Stateswhen advanced treatment is not currently available in Canada. For others, wait times, plus access to top physicians and highly rated facilities are primary issues of concern.
“There is insurance available to meet these requirements,” says Gordon Berger, chairman and founder of The PanFinancial Group, the wealth creation specialists for high net worth investors. “The Executive Health Options (EHO) insurance for example, is comprehensive, major medical coverage for services at home, in the States, and abroad. Furthermore, corporate owner-managers will be pleased to know that EHO can be tax-deductible under the provisions of the Canada Tax Act.
“Better still,” Berger explains, “if you want immediate medical attention, EHO will move you to the front of the line to access health care in the U.S.A. and other countries. The plan is guaranteed renewable for life, if coverage begins before age 65, and it insures you for hospital and medical expenses worldwide. You get to choose the location, the physician, and the specific hospital that is right for you.”
